Start your Project Bucket List this July!

It is time Reader,

Time to tackle your project bucket list. What I mean by this? It's simple. Keep reading to learn more.

While Bungee jumping and Skydiving as seen in the image is so not on my list and never will be. I was rather thinking about sewing and crafting projects. I don't know about you but I come up with new ideas faster than I can finish the ones I've started. Doesn't sound very good doesn't it. I know. But hear me out.

In case you are one of those people that get inspired easily or dream up new ideas on a regular basis but life seems to always get in your way of actually catching up on those ideas and projects.... I dare you to jump on and take this "Project Bucket List" journey with me.

Your mission should you choose to accept it is to work through that list and celebrate each finished project until New Years Eve (31st December 2025)

What do you think, are you in? Can I count on you? I'm a bit nervous myself to be honest. I tend to get distracted easily especially when life, day job and other things come crashing down. But I wanna see if I can work with my RAS (Reticular Activating System) to help me succeed. If you have watched any of the Joypreneur interviews you will know what I'm talking about. And if not it's the matchmaker in your mind to make sure your inner world matches the outside world. To keep it short.

I've already started to create this list. I chose the program Infinity as I had this program on hand. You can just simply write them on an excell spread sheet, word sheet, or a simple journal. I leave this up to you. It starts now in July and finishes on 31st December 2025.

I'm excited to do this and I can't wait. I've decided to showcase my finished projects on my YouTube channell. I've just started it for this purpose so I have a bit of an overview as well what I've achieved.

And if you are just starting out you can have getting your sewing space ready as your first item. It doens't necessarily need to be only sewing related items you could use what ever you wish to create creatively. But for me this is a list that really needs to get tackled and this will be my commitment.

Now as a pre-warning I have that many items on my list it probably would last a life time. So, therefore my goal is not to get to zero projects at the end. My main reason behind this whole endavour is to show myself the small wins. The wins that I have along the way that I often forget or simply don't see. And by the end I'm sure everyone who joined in has a good understanding of what we achieve each month and see our small wins.

Only when we see and ackowledge our small wins our RAS will help us to see more and we get on the winning side of life.

Some projects I will turn into a project review if I think you may benefit from it or you may love the project. And other times it's just an accountability video to help me celebrate the small wins along the way.

I can't wait to get started.

I'm not sure yet if I will aim for weekly or bi-weekly updates. I see how it flows easily and go from there. And how it fits in with my classes as well.

As my first success project for this July check out this video about the Tidy Travel Tote by Flosstyle that I've made. I've done smaller adjustments to it but mostly stuck to the pattern. Check it out and see if that's something you are keen to try as well or if it inspires you to set up your sewing room.

Either way I can't wait to get on this journey with you.

I'm a Textile & Craft Explorer, with a love for turning ordinary materials and little ideas into creative adventures.I enjoy exploring beginner-friendly sewing, quilting, home décor and craft projects, but I'm equally curious about what happens when creativity meets everyday life — our mindset, habits, wellbeing, curiosity and the way we see ourselves.I'm fascinated by the connections between creativity and mental wellbeing, positive mindset, habit change, numerology and all the little threads that seem to weave life together.I don't have all the answers — I'm exploring too. 😊So if you're curious about one of these things (or all of them!), come along for the adventure. Let's experiment, learn, make, notice what we discover and see where the next little door leads.**As I Go, I'm exploring what becomes possible when we get back in touch with our inner creative self.** 🌿🧵

Hi 😊 I’ve been experimenting with a few different ways to make learning at home a little more fun — using movement, silly voices, games and even a pirate adventure! 🏴☠️ And along the way, I realised something about how I naturally use creativity in everyday life. I’ve shared the little adventure (and what I discovered) on my blog: What If Homework Could Be a Little More Fun? 🌱 [Read the story here] Come along and see what we discovered.

Create your own envelope just for fun

Hi Reader, I made something quite simple the other day — a little fabric envelope. It started because I needed an envelope for a birthday card and realised I had plenty of leftover fabric sitting around. I remembered a simple project I used to make with my beginner sewing classes, so I thought... why not make one? It turned out to be a lovely little reminder that sometimes the things we already have tucked away can become something useful and fun. I've written about the little experiment —...

Hi Reader, This week my daughter and I tried something new—we made our own stickers! It started with one of her ideas after watching a crafty YouTube video. Since we already had a Cricut and some sticker paper at home, we thought, why not give it a go? We ended up making fun stickers, practical labels for our storage boxes, discovered a few little mistakes along the way (including a spelling error I only noticed after printing 😄), and even found some cheaper sticker paper hidden away in the...
