Fiddly project turned out not too fiddly at all.... what a surprise :)

Hello Reader my fellow creative,

How are you proceeding in your "Project bucket list" endevour? Well, if you have decided to join me in it that is. :) So far I'm doing well. Keep reading and watch the video below to see my latest finished projects.

Yes, do you belief it. I attempted to sew barbie clothes. I didn't want to do it as they are soooo fiddly I thought. And I mean of course they are as they are so tiny.

To my pleasant surprise though it went smoother than I thought to create them. I only made a pair of pants and a top. But they came out nice. I little hickup as the pattern size didn't fit my daughter's barbie. The new barbie's must have a wider hip than the original ones.

The pattern I had is super old I can't even remember when I got it to be honest. Yes that's how long it has been on my list to do.

Anyway check out my YouTube video to see the results and a simple tip on how to adjust the sizing to make the pants fit your barbie doll. :)

In case the link on the image above doens't work. Click HERE to be transferred to the video. Oh and check out the cute little fixes I made for her teddies. Our puppy got hold of 2 of them. Thank goodness I had some buttons in my stash. :)

As always. Have fun creating. And I hope you are working through your project bucket list as well. If you feel like sharing what you are working on feel free to reply to the email. I read them all. :)

I'm a Textile & Craft Explorer, with a love for turning ordinary materials and little ideas into creative adventures.I enjoy exploring beginner-friendly sewing, quilting, home décor and craft projects, but I'm equally curious about what happens when creativity meets everyday life — our mindset, habits, wellbeing, curiosity and the way we see ourselves.I'm fascinated by the connections between creativity and mental wellbeing, positive mindset, habit change, numerology and all the little threads that seem to weave life together.I don't have all the answers — I'm exploring too. 😊So if you're curious about one of these things (or all of them!), come along for the adventure. Let's experiment, learn, make, notice what we discover and see where the next little door leads.**As I Go, I'm exploring what becomes possible when we get back in touch with our inner creative self.** 🌿🧵

Hi 😊 I’ve been experimenting with a few different ways to make learning at home a little more fun — using movement, silly voices, games and even a pirate adventure! 🏴☠️ And along the way, I realised something about how I naturally use creativity in everyday life. I’ve shared the little adventure (and what I discovered) on my blog: What If Homework Could Be a Little More Fun? 🌱 [Read the story here] Come along and see what we discovered.

Create your own envelope just for fun

Hi Reader, I made something quite simple the other day — a little fabric envelope. It started because I needed an envelope for a birthday card and realised I had plenty of leftover fabric sitting around. I remembered a simple project I used to make with my beginner sewing classes, so I thought... why not make one? It turned out to be a lovely little reminder that sometimes the things we already have tucked away can become something useful and fun. I've written about the little experiment —...

Hi Reader, This week my daughter and I tried something new—we made our own stickers! It started with one of her ideas after watching a crafty YouTube video. Since we already had a Cricut and some sticker paper at home, we thought, why not give it a go? We ended up making fun stickers, practical labels for our storage boxes, discovered a few little mistakes along the way (including a spelling error I only noticed after printing 😄), and even found some cheaper sticker paper hidden away in the...
