Hi Reader,
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and some relaxing days off to rejuvenate for the coming New Year. 2024 is here and I'm excited to dive into this new year and dearly hope that all our wishes and dreams will come true.
Whilst I love this festive season I have come to realize that working in retail takes a little bit of the magic away, unfortunately. The relaxing time is suddenly not as relaxing as I remember it from those days when I worked in the office. LOL Even with all that said I think it's still a great time to enjoy with family and friends and to look back to 2023 and cherish all your wins no matter how small and what you've learned from your set backs? It’s a fun way to close the year and come up with new ways of how to start the new year.
For me my world view has changed. And this year I'm seeing the world inside and outside more and more as a puzzle with clues and hints placed everywhere for me to discover. It's a fun puzzle that is waiting for me to solve it. Does that sound familiar or rather far out and doesn't make any sense to you at all? Either way is fine as there is no right or wrong answer. Simply just some answer that feels right for you in that moment.
If you're intrigued to learn a bit more about what I mean by seeing my life in puzzle pieces read my latest blog post about "life is just a puzzle to be solved".

I'm a Textile & Craft Explorer, with a love for turning ordinary materials and little ideas into creative adventures.I enjoy exploring beginner-friendly sewing, quilting, home décor and craft projects, but I'm equally curious about what happens when creativity meets everyday life — our mindset, habits, wellbeing, curiosity and the way we see ourselves.I'm fascinated by the connections between creativity and mental wellbeing, positive mindset, habit change, numerology and all the little threads that seem to weave life together.I don't have all the answers — I'm exploring too. 😊So if you're curious about one of these things (or all of them!), come along for the adventure. Let's experiment, learn, make, notice what we discover and see where the next little door leads.**As I Go, I'm exploring what becomes possible when we get back in touch with our inner creative self.** 🌿🧵
Hi 😊 I’ve been experimenting with a few different ways to make learning at home a little more fun — using movement, silly voices, games and even a pirate adventure! 🏴☠️ And along the way, I realised something about how I naturally use creativity in everyday life. I’ve shared the little adventure (and what I discovered) on my blog: What If Homework Could Be a Little More Fun? 🌱 [Read the story here] Come along and see what we discovered.
Hi Reader, I made something quite simple the other day — a little fabric envelope. It started because I needed an envelope for a birthday card and realised I had plenty of leftover fabric sitting around. I remembered a simple project I used to make with my beginner sewing classes, so I thought... why not make one? It turned out to be a lovely little reminder that sometimes the things we already have tucked away can become something useful and fun. I've written about the little experiment —...
Hi Reader, This week my daughter and I tried something new—we made our own stickers! It started with one of her ideas after watching a crafty YouTube video. Since we already had a Cricut and some sticker paper at home, we thought, why not give it a go? We ended up making fun stickers, practical labels for our storage boxes, discovered a few little mistakes along the way (including a spelling error I only noticed after printing 😄), and even found some cheaper sticker paper hidden away in the...
